‍

ZHealth Documentation is offering a free 50-case documentation and coding audit to up to five Cath Lab and interventional radiology programs. The audit gives each program an outside look at how well its procedure documentation supports the codes being billed. Applications are open now through November 20.

‍

Hospital and health system cath labs and interventional radiology departments are eligible to apply. Cath Lab managers, IR directors, and revenue cycle or coding leaders are encouraged to apply on behalf of their program.

‍

CV & IR procedures are some of the hardest to document and code correctly, and problems often go unnoticed until they show up as denials. An outside review can catch those issues earlier, when they’re easier to fix.

‍

‍

“A lot of the program leaders I talk to don’t find out about a documentation or coding problem until the denials start coming in. We wanted to give a few programs a chance to see what an outside review turns up, with no cost to them.”
Dr. David Zielske ("Dr. Z"), Founder and CEO of ZHealth Documentation

‍

‍

What selected programs receive

  • A review of 50 cases from their Cath Lab or IR service line
  • A written findings report
  • A call with the ZHealth Documentation team to walk through the results

Selected programs will receive a contract from ZHealth Documentation before the audit begins.
